Position Title:
Mechanical Engineer (Davie, FL) – Full Time
Position Duties:
To research, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain sophisticated high-end coffee machinery and equipment. Develop a maintenance criticality matrix to anticipate and annihilate potential failures of the equipment. To review equipment functions of the water system, such as pumping pressure and precision flow control of pumps to suggest mechanical design related improvements to eliminate or reduce malfunctions and to ensure operational reliability, productivity, and efficiency. To provide detailed technical drawings and instructions for product or part of the product mechanics redesign and improvements and test equipment to ensure desired performance. Generate layout, assembly, and installation of the machine equipment drawings. To provide technical support for commissioning, qualification, and verification (CQV) processes. To conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, mechanical and operational design, and performance of boilers in coffee. To review, coordinate, and monitor equipment production and select manufacturing and fabrication methodologies. To specify system components and direct modifications of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or closely related.
